Will Todd’s Requiem is a haunting work, utterly original and eerily familiar, drawing from opera, folk music and plainsong for its inspiration and revelling in the many gorgeous colours an electric guitar can conjure, reflecting on death and the resurrection. The Elysian Singers are delighted to be joined by Susan Young (soprano) and Thomas Gray (electric guitar), for whom the work was written.
