  • March: World premiere of Bertie Baigent’s Noli claudere aures tuas in the presence of the composer
  • May: English Music Festival concert
  • July: Televised promenade concert at the Royal Albert Hall with the BBC Symphony Orchestra
  • August: Sir James MacMillan becomes Patron
2016

  • February: First in a series of “Psalmfest” concerts programming sections of all 150 psalms to celebrate the choir’s thirtieth anniversary. World premiere of Daniel Rollison’s Adiuva nos. Four composers in attendance
  • June: Glasgow weekend. Festival appearances, service and workshop with the choir’s patron, Sir James Macmillan at his church in Cumnock (photos: Rosie Edge)
  • October: World premieres of the three works short-listed for the choir’s anniversary composition prize. Adjudicated by Sir James Macmillan and Roderick Williams, the competition attracted more than a hundred entries

2017

  • January: Final concert in the Psalmfest series. Some thirty former singers returned to join in the performances of Bernstein’s Chichester Psalms and Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms at St John’s Smith Square, backed by a full orchestra
  • July: “Remembering Srebrenica”, a 22nd anniversary concert at St James Piccadilly with readings by Lord Ashdown and Simon Callow
  • July: “Common & Kind” international charity fundraiser. With TURYA, Palisander, Thomas Gould et al.
  • September: West Wycombe Chamber Music Festival appearance with Natalie Clein, Lawrence Power, Stephanie Gonley et al.
2018

  • February: World premiere of Danyal Dhondy’s Still the Sirens (Listen to an excerpt from the first rehearsal here)
  • May: Tour to Luxembourg
  • November: World premiere of Owen Leech’s If you are Fire
2019

  • May: Concert at The Rosary Shrine conducted by Sir James MacMillan
  • June: Released One Equal Music, the choir’s second all-Macmillan CD
  • November: Westminster Abbey performance – part of the “Dialogues” series
