Latest news (October 2008): The choir has embarked on an exciting collaboration this autumn. Together with the Orchestra of the City and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, we are working towards Héloïse et Abélard day on Sunday, 9th November, when we will be exploring and commemorating the lives of two medieval philosophers, whose love affair had such tragic consequences. The day culminates with a rare performance of Elizabeth Maconchy's dramatic cantata, "Héloïse et Abélard". Both afternoon and evening events take place at LSO St Luke's. Tickets can be booked via the Barbican (www.barbican.org.uk).
