Want to join the Elysian Singers? Our objective is to perform a varied repertoire of music to a high standard, whilst maintaining a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. With a membership of almost 60, we have the scope to take on works as complex as John Tavener's 48-part "Let not the Prince be silent", but we typically use 30 to 35 singers for each concert. The choir rehearses on Monday evenings from 7pm to 9.30 (and occasionally in midweek), in St Anne & St Agnes church at the St. Paul's Cathedral end of Gresham Street, London EC2, where auditions also take place. We are always on the lookout for new singers with good sight-reading ability and voice quality. For more information, please contact us. It is helpful if you can let us know which voice part you sing when you e-mail us, and also tell us a little about your previous singing experience. Top of page |
